Marcus Ozbun, Academic Coordinator, has been working at NC State since December 2016. He currently advises wrestling, softball, and gymnastics. He started his academic career at Missouri Southern State University to play baseball before transferring to the University of Arkansas and earning a degree in marketing and economics. He continued his education at the University of Arkansas, earning his M.Ed in Sport Management. After graduation, he worked at Missouri State University as an advisor for football, softball, and men’s/women’s soccer. Directly before coming to NC State, he worked at the University of Southern Mississippi as an academic counselor with football, baseball and volleyball. He is originally from Joplin, MO.
