Brianne Lawton joined the Wolfpack in August of 2018. She has served as an athletic trainer for the swimming and diving, track and field and cheerleading teams before making the transition into working with softball.
Prior to NC State, Lawton received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following her graduation, Lawton completed her Master of Science degree in Recreation, Event, and Sports Management from the University of North Texas. While at North Texas, she was a graduate assistant working with the softball team.
Lawton is originally from Raleigh, N.C. She is a certified athletic trainer, licensed by the State of North Carolina, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. She is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist and has training in SFMA and Dry Needling.
