Hailey Loftin joined the NC State Athletics Communications staff as an Athletics Communications Assistant in December 2019 and transitioned to her current role as Assistant Director of Athletics Communications in March 2021. She serves as the primary contact for gymnastics, cross country and softball while manages the student assistant program within the NC State Athletics Communications office. Additionally, she is the secondary contact for women's basketball and has previously handled communications for the Wolfpack track & field and men's tennis programs.

Since joining the staff, Loftin has led the communications efforts for an NCAA women's cross country championship, two ACC women's cross country championships, two East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) regular-season titles, a pair of outdoor track 5000m NCAA champions and multiple individual ACC and EAGL champions. She has expanded the followings of her programs' social media accounts and oversaw the transition from separate cross country and track & field Twitter accounts to a single account for both programs.

Loftin worked as a volunteer student assistant in the NC State Athletics Communications Office for three and a half years prior to joining the staff. During her time as a student assistant, she worked across all 23 varsity sports but focused on men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s basketball. She worked on the game operations staff for USA Baseball during the summer of 2018 and interned with the Atlantic Coast Conference communications staff during the summers of 2018 and 2019. She has volunteered at multiple ACC championships, including men’s basketball, football, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s tennis.

Loftin graduated summa cum laude from NC State University in 2020 with a B.A. in Communication Media and a B.S. in Sport Management.
