Will battle for playing time in preseason drills after being redshirted last year … A solid performer with a nice shooting touch.
College Career: Redshirted last season after joining the Pack as a non-scholarship player in the fall of 1994 … Returned to his old high school gym when the Wolfpack practiced at Beverly Hills High on its trip to UCLA … The Beverly Hills High gym, which has a pool underneath the playing surface, is best remembered from the school dance scene in “It’s A Wonderful Life” with James Stewart and Donna Reed.
High School Career: Was an honorable mention high school All-American at Beverly Hills High School in Street & Smith’s and Blue Chip Illustrated … Averaged 26 points and nine rebounds per game as a junior and 23 points and nine rebounds per game as a senior … Was the Westside Player of the Year as a junior in The Los Angeles Times and as a senior in The Santa Monica Outlook … Named all-conference and the Outstanding Player in the Ocean League (Division 2-AA) as a senior … Was first-team All-CIF for Southern California as a junior and a senior.
Personal: Majoring in pre-veterinary medicine … Originally from Burlington, NC, but moved to Los Angeles in the ninth grade … Born on February 10, 1976.
