Enters preseason drills with an opportunity to earn important playing time … An outstanding outside shooter, Jason must improve his all-around game in order to see more minutes on the court … One of the finest long-range shooters on the team, he has connected on nearly 35 percent of his career three-point attempts in limited action.
Sophomore Season: Jason played in 12 games, all in a reserve role … He averaged 1.8 points as five of his seven field goals came from behind the three-point line … Scored a career high eight points in the season’s second game against Howard … Added six points against Winthrop … Also posted his career highs of four rebounds and four assists against Winthrop.
Freshman Season: Jason played in 25 games, all in a reserve capacity … Eleven of his 14 field goals were from behind the three-point arc … He made 36.7 percent of his three-point attempts … Coach Robinson showed his confidence in him when Jason was inserted into the Wale Forest game with less than a minute to play to help break the press and shoot foul shots … The strategy worked as Jason made two free throws that helped the Pack preserve a 71-63 victory … Season scoring high was six points against Wisconsin-Green Bay in the Great Alaska Shootout … He pulled in a then-career-best three rebounds against Hawaii in Alaska and dished out a season-best three assists at home against Duke.
