Rachel Agunbiade has worked at NC State with the Academic Support Program for Student Athletes (ASPSA) since February of 2014. She currently advises the men’s basketball student-athletes. She previously served as an academic coordinator advising women’s soccer, baseball, and volleyball teams. Prior to her position within ASPSA, Agunbiade served as an academic coordinator at East Carolina University and worked with the football student-athletes. She previously served as an assistant academic coordinator within ASPSA during the 2011-2012 year.
Agunbiade earned both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Master of Science in Sport Management at Florida State University. She worked at Florida State University with their academic support program, mainly serving as a tutorial assistant. During her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her family and friends. Agunbiade married her husband Ayo in October of 2015 and the couple reside in Fuquay Varina.
