"River was someone we were familiar with, both from her high school career and her ACC career. She brings a great skill set on offense that will fit well in our four-out, one-in system. Her presence on the boards and on the block will be an asset on both ends of the court. We're definitely excited about adding the talent and experience that River will bring to our program."
2023-24 (GRADUATE/FIFTH YEAR AT NC STATE):
- Started in all 35 games available for in her second and final season with the Wolfpack
- Nearly doubled her averages from 2022-23, logging 10.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in 27.6 minutes per game with 10.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in ACC play
- Led the team in free throw percentage (75-of-92, .815), rebounding average, offensive rebounds/game (2.3), blocks (44) and field goal percentage (148-of-276, .536)
- Finished the season with 21 double-digit scoring games, eight double-digit rebounding games, seven double-doubles and seven 3+ block contests
- Registered a career-high 24 points off 8-of-11 from the field and 8-of-8 from the free throw line vs. No. 3/4 Colorado at the Paradise Jam, while adding eight rebounds
- Named Paradise Jam Island Tournament MVP after averaging 15.0 points and shooting 76.2 percent (16-of-21) across the three Wolfpack wins
- Also awarded USBWA National Player of the Week after her Paradise Jam performance
- Posted her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Vanderbilt in the ACC/SEC Challenge
- Recorded a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double, shooting 7-of-8 from the floor at USF and followed that up with 12 points, nine rebounds and a career-high four blocks at Old Dominion
- Posted 21 points, eight rebounds and three blocks vs. No. 22/22 Florida State
- Registered back-to-back double-doubles at Duke (14 points and 10 rebounds) and No. 19/19 Syracuse (13 points and career-high 13 rebounds)
- Named to the All-ACC Tournament Second Team, logging 14 points and seven rebounds against No. 14/14 Notre Dame in the championship game
- Averaged 11.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in the Pack’s run to the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament
- Recorded a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double against Chattanooga
- Registered 16 points vs. No. 1-seeded, fourth-ranked Texas in the Elite Eight
- Closed out her collegiate career with 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals vs. top-seeded, No. 1/1 South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament Final Four
2022-23 (GRADUATE AT NC STATE):
- Played in 31 games in first season with the Wolfpack, missing just one contest
- Averaged 5.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in 14.5 minutes of action per game
- Scored in double figures a total of five times during 2022-23 campaign
- Led team in scoring (18) and rebounding (11) against West Virginia for second career double-double and first with the Pack; both numbers marked season highs
- Tied season high in rebounding with 11 rebounds in Dec. 15 win over Davidson; rounded out second double-double of campaign with 11 points against Wildcats; only Pack player with multiple double-doubles in 2022-23
- Posted 14 points in ACC Tournament opener against Syracuse, the most she’s scored at the event in her four-year career; did not miss a shot as she went perfect 7-of-7 from field and also tied for team lead in rebounds with seven
- 10 points against Virginia on Jan. 8 marked most she scored in conference action that season
- Scored nine points in road game at Virginia Tech, with seven of those coming in the second half; hit first career three pointer to end the third quarter
- Blocked season-high four shots in ACC win over Clemson; one of just two players on the team to block 4+ shots in a game that season
- Scored eight points and drew eight fouls, three of which were charges she took, in her first game played against her former team Florida State
- Hauled in 5+ rebounds in eight games in 2022-23
2021-22 (JUNIOR AT FLORIDA STATE):
- Career-best averages of 6.0 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 54.5 percent (73-of-134) from the floor
- Started 18 games for the Seminoles and averaged career-high 18.2 minutes per game
- Six double-figure scoring games and four games with multiple blocked shots
- Posted a double-double in Dec. 12 game against Florida with 15 points and 10 boards; shot 7-of-8 from the field and knocked down a three in that game
- Finished season with 20 blocked shots
2020-21 (SOPHOMORE AT FLORIDA STATE):
- Averaged 3.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and shot 42.2 percent (27-of-64) from the floor while averaging nearly 18 minutes per game
- Tied ACC career high with 12 points at Clemson in under 20 minutes of action; shot perfect 4-of-4 from the floor in that outing
- Also added career-high six blocks in team's second meeting of the season against the Tigers
- Three games with multiple blocked shots
2019-20 (FRESHMAN AT FLORIDA STATE):
- Averaged 5.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and shot 56.7 percent (68-of-120) from the floor
- Led the Seminoles with 31 blocked shots as a rookie
- Honored as ACC Freshman of the Week back-to-back weeks in December
- Posted first career double-double in Dec. 8 game at Clemson with 12 points and 10 rebounds
- Scored in double figures in seven games
- Season-high 19 points against North Florida on Dec. 18

- Averaged a double-double as a senior at Pleasant Home High School with 24.9 points and 13.8 rebounds; added 6.7 blocks per game that season
- MVP of the annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game
- 2017 and 2018 Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 1A Player of the Year
- Also an all-state volleyball player and a state shot put champion
