2020 SEASON:
• Co-recipient of the team’s Bo Rein Award - for vital contribution in an unsung role. He was also one of the co-recipients of the team’s Special Teams Player of the Year honor.
• Played in all 12 games, starting four contests.
• Tied for first in the FBS in blocked kicks with three.
• Three blocked kicks tied for third in school history and was the most for a Wolfpack player since 2002.
• In for a season-high 90 snaps as a starter at weakside linebacker in the Miami game.
• Blocked what would have been the game-winning field goal in the win over No. 21 Liberty.
• His block vs. Duke was recovered for a touchdown.
• SAM linebacker who played four positions in the win at Pitt: SAM, Nickel, Dime and an extra LB on the goal line.
2019 SEASON:
• Sat out the season after transferring from Southern Cal.
• Earned the team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year Award and the Special Teams Scout Team Player of the Year Award.
BEFORE NC STATE:
At USC
• In 2018: Played in eight games, tallying 13 tackles, three tackles for loss and three PBUs.
• In 2017: Saw action in all 14 games as a true freshman as a backup inside linebacker. Turned in 15 tackles.
In High School
• Honors: Under Armour, Prep Star, Max Preps, and USA Today All-American. An All-Central Texas first--team linebacker.
• Career Stats: In three varsity seasons, totaled 238 tackles and 18 sacks.
• Senior Stats: Had 103 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and four sacks.
• Junior Stats: Tallied 116 tackles and six sacks.
• Rankings: A four-star recruit.
PERSONAL
• Father, Robert, was a starting LB for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990s and won three Super Bowls.
• Brothers Cayleb and Isaiah also both played in the NFL.
• Uncle, Jeff Blake, starred at East Carolina and later played in the NFL.
