-Had the best game of his career in the win at Maryland, he tallied nine tackles (all solos) and a tackle for loss.
- Had four tackles, including two for loss, in the win over No. 3 Florida State and was named the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week.
As a RS - Freshman (2011):
- Broke his foot in the season opener and missed the next seven contests after undergoing surgery.
As a Freshman (2010):
- Redshirted the season, he was named the defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Virginia Tech game.
