Joseph Sorce MS, ATC, LAT, CES

Sorce joined the North Carolina State Sports Medicine Staff in September 2020. He serves as an Assistant Athletic trainer for NC State’s football team.

Sorce graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Texas State University. Shortly after graduation, he pursued a seasonal internship with the Dallas Cowboys. He then moved to New Mexico to serve as a graduate assistant at the University of Mexico while obtaining a Masters of Science in Physical Education.

He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. As a part of his continuing education, Sorce has completed coursework in IV Access and Fluid Administration and holds a certification in National Academy of Sports Medicine - Corrective Exercise Specialization.

Sorce is a native of Dallas, Texas. He and his fiancé, Kimberlee, live at home with their dog, Penelope. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hiking, listening to old records, and spending time with his fiancé.
