AS A RS-JUNIOR (2024):
• An honorable mention 2024 All-ACC performer, he finished the season ranked ninth in the league with 7.4 tackles per game.
• Leading tackler on the Wolfpack squad with 96 total stops.
• Leads the ACC and ranked fifth nationally with three recovered fumbles in 2024.
• Posted a career-high 13 tackles vs. Northern Illinois.
• In for a career-high 80 snaps from scrimmage vs. Syracuse.
• Tied what was then his career high with 11 tackles vs. Tennessee.
• Ran for a first down on a fake punt vs. Northern Illinois.
• Named to the preseason watch list for the Butkus Award.
• Elected a team captain by his teammates for 2024.
• Moved to LB in the spring after playing safety.
• Has added over 25 lbs. since arriving on campus.
AS A RS-SOPHOMORE (2023):
• Moved into the starter’s role at free safety following an injury to the returning starter.
• Made his first career start vs. No. 10 Notre Dame and went on to start 10 of the last 11 games.
• Ranked third on the squad in tackles, he had a career-best 11 stops in the win over Clemson and made every tackle to hold the Tigers out of the end zone on the final drive.
• In for 546 snaps on defense and 123 on special teams.
• Played at MLB in the Pack’s dime package vs. the Tigers.
• Had a then-career-high nine stops in the win at Virginia.
• Also had his first interception in the win over Virginia, it made the SportsCenter Top 10.
• Also had a pick vs. Wake Forest - he returned it 33 yards.
• Ejected for targeting vs. Louisville, he had 8 tackles and two sacks before he was DQed. Had to sit out the first half vs. Marshall.
• Earned the team’s Michael J. Hardy Award for the player with a winning attitude.
AS A RS-FRESHMAN (2022):
• Reserve safety who played a huge role on special teams.
• Led the team in special teams snaps with 246 for the season - he started on four special teams units.
• Team leader in tackles in the win over UConn with seven.
• Played a career-high 22 snaps in that contest.
• Named a finalist for PFF’s National Special Teams Player of the Year.
• Scored a touchdown on a blocked punt in the win over ECU.
AS A FRESHMAN (2021):
• Saw action on special teams in four contests (Furman, Clemson, Wake Forest, Syracuse), he redshirted the season.
• Named the team’s Co-Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year.
• Enrolled at NC State in January of 2021 and went through spring drills with the Wolfpack.
IN HIGH SCHOOL
• Played safety at Hough High School for coach Matthew Jenkins.
• Hough did not have a 2020 fall season.
• Junior Stats: FInished second on the team with 70 tackles, he also tallied eight sacks. Pulled down two INTS. Helped lead his team to an 8-5 record and the second round of the NC 4AA state playoffs.
• Honors: An all-conference selection in his lone year on varsity.
• Rankings: Ranked as the No. 166 safety nationally and the No. 86 player in the state of North Carolina by 247Sports.com.
