2023 SEASON:
• Mainstay on the Pack defensive line, he came back from a season-ending injury in 2022 to make a significant impact in 2023.
• Missed the season opener with an injury but was back in the starting lineup and played 37 snaps vs. Notre Dame.
• Started the next 12 games.
• Had a career-best two sacks in the first quarter of the win at Wake Forest, all four of his stops in that game were for loss or no gain.
2022 SEASON:
• Starting defensive end who was injured in the Syracuse game and missed the remainder of the season.
• Had a career-high two tackles for loss in the opener.
• Wearing honored jersey No. 9 in 2022 - the number previously worn by first-round NFL draft picks Mario Williams and Bradley Chubb.
2021 SEASON:
• Starter at defensive end in the first nine games of the season, he was a solid performer for the Wolfpack all season.
• Exited the Florida State game early with an injury and then missed the last three contests.
• Played a career-high 61 snaps in the win over Louisiana Tech, his seven tackles in that contest was also a career best.
2020 SEASON:
• Played in all 12 games at defensive end, he started four contests.
• As a starter in the bowl contest vs. Kentucky, played a then career-high 53 snaps.
• Tallied a career-high four tackles in the opener vs. Wake Forest.
2019 SEASON:
• Top sub on the defensive line as a freshman, he missed one game with an injury and another because he was sick (strep throat).
• Named a preseason freshman All-American by the FWAA.
• Enrolled at NC State in January of 2019.
HIGH SCHOOL:
* Played on the defensive line at Clayton High School for coach Hunter Jenks.
• Career Stats: Posted 177 career tackles, 88 solo stops. Also notched 58.5 tackles for loss and 22.5 sacks.
• Senior Stats: Finished with 70 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. Also blocked three field goals and a punt. Team fell in the first round of the NC 3AA state playoffs.
• Junior Stats: Tallied 56 tackles and 20 TFLS with eight sacks.
• Sophomore Stats: Turned in 51 tackles, 19.5 TFLs and seven sacks.
• Honors: Named an Under Armour All-American and played in the Under Armour All-America game in January. Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. Invited to play in the 2018 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star Game.
• Rankings: The No. 15 recruit in North Carolina and the No. 30 strong-side defensive end nationally by Rivals.com, which also ranked him a four-star recruit. No. 168 recruit nationally, the NO. 3 recruit in North Carolina and the No. 11 strong-side defensive end nationally by 247Sports.com, which also ranked him a four-star recruit. No. 50 in the ESPN300.
