• A two-sport athlete at Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas, he earned letters in baseball (4) and football (3) and led Highland Park to the 2018 Class 5A Division I State Championship in football

• Honors: Three-time all-state performer on the gridiron. Also a two-time (2020, ‘21) All-State selection in baseball. Served as team captain for both the football and baseball teams as a senior.

• Junior Stats: Recorded 69 tackles, including nine tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions and scored a defensive touchdown.
