2022 SEASON
• Played in three contests: 15 snaps vs. Charleston Southern, nine vs. UConn and on special teams vs. Wake Forest.
2021 SEASON
• Saw action in three games on special teams (Miami, Louisville, Florida State).
• Enrolled at NC State in January of 2021 and went through spring drills with the Wolfpack.
IN HIGH SCHOOL
• Played cornerback and wide receiver at Cox High School for coach Bill Stachelski.
• Cox did not have a 2020 fall season.
• Junior Stats: Missed the season after suffering a knee injury during the previous spring.
• Sophomore Stats: Notched 12 tackles and one interception. Helped lead his team to a 9-3 record and the second round of the VA Group 6A state playoffs.
• Rankings: Ranked as the No. 66 cornerback nationally and the No. 16 player in the state of Virginia by Rivals.com. Also ranked as the No. 75 cornerback nationally and the No. 23 player in Virginia by 247Sports.com.
PERSONAL
• Older brother, Levonta Taylor, played cornerback at Florida State where he was a three-year starter and was in training camp with the Los Angeles Rams following the 2020 NFL Draft. Another older brother, Keontae Jenkins, plays CB at TCU.
• Major: Enrolled in the exploratory studies program.
