AS A FRESHMAN (2014):
· Redshirted the season.
IN HIGH SCHOOL:
· Played tight end and on the defensive line for coach DaLawn Parrish.
· Helped team to a 7-4 record as a senior and the Maryland 4A state playoffs as a senior.
· Also played high school basketball, averaging over 13.0 points as both a junior and senior.
· Senior Stats: Finished with 12 catches for 294 yards and two touchdowns. Tallied 49 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and nine sacks on defense.
· Junior Stats: Caught 17 passes for 382 yards and eight touchdowns.
· Honors: Named to the Washington Post all-metro team. Played in the Maryland Crab Bowl.
· Rankings: No. 54 tight end nationally by scout.com. No. 27 player in Maryland by rivals.com. No. 28 tight end nationally and the No. 23 player in Maryland by ESPN.com.
· Personal: Father, Durwood, is a retired Air Force officer. Brother, Titus, is a safety at James Madison after transferring from Maryland.
