AS A RS - FRESHMAN (2018):
• Backup quarterback who saw action in five games and went 7-8 on his passing attempts.
• In for 14 snaps in the win at Louisville, he completed five of his six attempts for 38 yards.
• Rushed for a score in the win over Georgia State.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017):
• Redshirted the season at quarterback.
• Named the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year.

• Played quarterback for coach Rod Sink at local Wakefield High School.
• Career Stats: Dual threat QB who threw for 5,932 yards and 58 touchdowns while rushing for 2,386 yard and 39 touchdowns.
• Senior Stats: Threw for 1,956 yards and 19 touchdowns. Rushed for 895 yards and 17 touchdowns.
• Junior Stats: Threw for 2,486 yards and 29 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,186 yards and 17 more TDs.
• Sophomore Stats: Tallied 2,206 passing yards and threw for 22 touchdowns. Posted 305 rushing yards with five TDs.
• Honors: First-team all-conference performer as a sophomore, junior and senior. Also earned academic all-conference honors all three years.
• Rankings: No. 41 player in North Carolina by rivals.com. No. 72 quarterback nationally by scout.com, the No. 3 QB in North Carolina.
