AS A JUNIOR (2019):
• Was vying for the team-lead in tackles before an injury forced him to miss the last four games of the season.
• Led the team in tackles three times - including a team-high for the season with 14 stops in the win over Syracuse.
• Named the ACC Linebacker of the Week for that performance.
• Ranked second on the team in tackles with 50.
• First year as a starter, he got the nod in all eight games that he played at WLB.
• Led the team in tackles at Florida State with 7 - including 2 TFLs.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018):
• Backup middle linebacker who saw action in 12 games with one start.
• Earned the starting nod in the win at Marshall - he was the team’s second-leading tackler vs. the Herd with nine stops.
• Ranked second on the team in special teams tackles.
• Starter on three of the Wolfpack’s four special teams units.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017):
• Saw action in 12 games, all on special teams, he was the fourth-leading special teams tackler.
IN HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played LB and RB for coach Augie Hoffmann at St. Joseph Regional. St. Joseph Regional won the N.J. non-public Group 3 state championship and ranked No. 1 in the state.
• Career stats: Finished with 314 tackles, 104 solo stops, 46 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks.
• Senior stats: Tallied 101 tackles, including 14 for loss with 6.5 sacks. Also rushed for 862 yards on 150 carries and had nine touchdowns.
• Junior stats: Had 116 tackles, 16 TFLs and seven sacks.
• Sophomore stats: Had 97 tackles, 16 TFLs and five sacks.
• Honors: A team captain as a senior. Named a scout.com and USA Today second-team All-American linebacker as a senior. Named New Jersey state defensive player of the year by NJ.com and American Family Insurance. A MaxPreps Medium Schools second-team All-American at linebacker as a senior. Named to the NJ.com all-state team and was the NorthJersey.com defensive player of the year.
