2021 SEASON:
• Will miss spring drills as he continues to recover from a spinal injury.
2020 SEASON:
• Left the field in an ambulance in game 2 at Virginia Tech, suffering a spinal cord injury and was unable to play the remainder of the season.
2019 SEASON:
• Redshirted the season, even though he started the season finale vs. UNC while Tanner Ingle was injured.
• In for 62 snaps and tallied seven tackles in that contest.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played safety at East Forsyth High School for coach Todd Willert. Team won the NC 4A state title with a perfect 15-0 record. That marked East Forsyth’s first title game appearance since 1992.
• Career Stats: A four-year starter, posted 287 career tackles, including 152 solo stops. Also hauled in 13 interceptions and had 8.5 tackles for loss.
• Senior Stats: Finished with 95 tackles, 45 solo stops, along with two interceptions and three blocked punts. On offense, caught four passes for 98 yards and scored two TDs. In the state semifinals, ran a fake punt 73 yards for a touchdown.
• Junior Stats: Notched 77 tackles, 49 solo stops and four interceptions, with three returned for touchdowns.
• Sophomore Stats: Tallied 51 tackles, 23 solo stops and three interceptions.
• Honors: Invited to play in the 2018 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star Game.
• Rankings: No. 22 recruit in North Carolina and the No. 42 safety nationally by 247Sports.com.
