2021 SEASON:

• Backup nickel who got the start in the FSU and UNC games - both Wolfpack wins - due to the injury to Tyler Baker-Williams.

• In for a season-high 70 snaps versus the Tar Heels, his five tackles in that contest was also his top mark in 2021.

• Picked off his second career pass in the win over the Seminoles.

2020 SEASON:

• One of three true freshmen to start on defense in 2020, he was the only one to start multiple games.

• Got the starting nod at nickel vs. Virginia, Miami and Florida St.

• Pulled down an interception and returned it 21 yards in the win at Virginia.

• Earned his first start while veteran Tyler Baker-Williams was contact traced vs. Virginia.

• Has added 15 lbs. since joining the squad in the summer of 2020.

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Played both cornerback and running back at The Benjamin School for coach Eric Kresser.

• As a senior: Posted 41 tackles and two interceptions. Also caused two fumbles. Had 29 carries for 181 yards and one touchdown. Also caught 19 passes for 264 yards and 1 TD. Helped team advance to the Florida Class 3A regional semifinals and finish with an 8-4 record.

• As a junior: Tallied 23 tackles and two INTs. Finished with 80 carries for 478 yards and six touchdowns. Also pulled down 13 catches for 187 yards and a score. Named first-team All-County.

• Honors: First-team all-state performer.

PERSONAL:

• Named the Sun-Sentinel track and field player of the year as a junior. Finished third in the 200m at the state championship meet and won the regional title in the 400m.

• Major: Enrolled in the exploratory studies program.
