- Career Stats: Team captain all four years at Hugh Cummings High School, totaled 3,000 all-purpose yards. Named all-state and was player of the year twice, receiving All-American accolades
- As a Junior: Was prolific during his 12-game junior season. Rushed for 1,054 yards and 17 touchdowns on 77 carries, caught 27 passes for 725 yards and five touchdowns, and surpassed 300 yards in return yardage. Defensively, he had 18 tackles and intercepted three passes
- As a Sophomore: Carried 68 times for 655 yards and five touchdowns and caught 42 passes for 936 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. Also made seven tackles on defense
- As a Freshman: In seven games, had 438 yards and four touchdowns on 60 carries. Caught 36 passes for 851 yards and 12 touchdowns
