Football Home Opener Moved to Friday, Sept. 11

Other dates confirmed for 2026 season

NC State Football fans won't have to wait quite as long to see the Wolfpack play in Carter-Finley Stadium in 2026, as the home opener against Richmond has been moved to Friday, Sept. 11. The ACC also released several other schedule updates for the Wolfpack.

Three other games that were listed with tentative dates on the original schedule released by the league office in January have been confirmed:
The Pack's first-ever game at Stanford will be played on Friday, Oct. 23.
The Homecoming contest vs. Cal will be played on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The Military Appreciation game vs. Duke will be on Saturday, Nov. 7.
