AS A RS-SOPHOMORE (2024):
• Had only seen action on special teams before coming off the bench to play 22 snaps at nickel vs. Syracuse after starting nickel was ejected for targeting.
• Ranked third on the team with 192 special teams snaps.
• Started at nickel in the win at Cal, he played a career-high 30 snaps in that contest.
AS A RS-FRESHMAN (2023):
• Saw action in two games - vs. VMI and Kansas State - on special teams.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022):
• Enrolled in January and went through spring drills with the Pack.
• Did not see action.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played both safety and nickel for coach Todd Willert at East Forsyth High School.
• Career Stats: Recorded 229 tackles, including 130 solo stops, during his prep career. Added 20 tackles for loss, four sacks, a pair of interceptions and 16 pass breakups.
• Senior Stats: Finished with 93 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and four sacks. Also had an interception, seven pass breakups and blocked a pair of field goal attempts. Selected to the 2021 Carolina Bowl. Team posted an 11-2 record and advanced to the NC 4A state quarterfinals.
• Junior Stats: Tallied 75 tackles and six tackles for loss. Also had an interception and two fumble recoveries. Named all-conference and All-Northwest North Carolina by the Winston-Salem Journal.
• Sophomore Stats: Racked up 61 tackles and a pair of TFLs. Member of the NC 4A state championship squad that posted a 13-2 record.
• Rankings: Ranked as the No. 17 player in the state of North Carolina by Rivals. Ranked as the No. 58 cornerback nationally and the No. 17 player in the state of North Carolina by 247Sports.
PERSONAL
• Younger brother of former Wolfpack RB Micah Crowell. Older brother, Germane Jr., played WR at Virginia. Father Germane played WR at UVA and was drafted in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions and played five seasons in the NFL. In his second season, he posted 81 catches for 1,338 yards and seven TDs.
• Major: Communication
