Pete Roley was named Director of Football Operation in the spring of 2019, after he previously severed as Associate Director of Football Operations since the spring of 2015. He had previously served as Wolfpack Football’s Director of Social Media & Recruiting Marketing since January of 2013.
Roley served as the Assistant Director of Football Operations under Dave Doeren at Northern Illinois from 2011-13, and prior to that spent a season at NIU under Coach Jerry Kill handling all of the staff’s video needs.
A 2008 graduate of Western Illinois University, Roley was the back-up quarterback for the Leathernecks. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance and spent a short time playing for the St. Louis Rage of the Arena Football League.
Roley coached the tight ends and worked on the ops staff at his alma mater while pursuing his Master’s degree in sports management.
The Aurora, Illinois, native and his wife, the former Anna Harkness have two sons, Mason James and Colton Paul.
