Kriss Proctor joined the Wolfpack football staff in the spring of 2016 as the quality control assistant for the offense. Proctor came to NC State from Indiana State, where he spent the 2015 season as the wide receiver coach and recruiting coordinator. Â
Prior to his stint with the Sycamores, he spent a year at Boise State University, serving as an offensive quality control assistant and working with the recruiting staff from 2012-14.
Proctor played quarterback at Navy from 2008-11, rushing 211 times for 914 yards as a senior. He also led the Midshipmen with 14 touchdowns, while completing 52 passes for 787 yards and another seven scores. He was named the MVP of the 2011 Army-Navy game after rushing for 97 yards and two TDs.
He went on to earn his B.S. in political science from Boise State in 2013.
A native of Big Bear Lake, Calif., Proctor played in the 2008 Military Bowl, the 2009 Texas Bowl and the 2010 Poinsietta Bowl. He has coached in the Vegas Bowl (2012), the Hawaii Bowl (2014), the Fiesta Bowl (2016) and last year’s Independence Bowl with the Wolfpack.
