- Coached running backs at West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2015. Worked as an offensive graduate assistant at West Virginia in 2017 and spend the 2018 and 2019 seasons as an offensive analyst at the University of Illinois.
- Coached All-Mountain East Conference RB Michael Anderson at WVWC, who later became the school’s all-time leading rusher.
- During his time at WVU, the Mountaineers ranked 20th in the FBS in total offense, 22nd in scoring offense and 13th in passing offense.
- In 2018, helped Illinois offensive coordinator Rod Smith engineer a huge turnaround to the Illinois, led by All-Big Ten running back Reggie Corbin. The revamped Illinois offense ranked 12th in rushing yards per game (+110 spots in the rankings), second in 40+ yard runs (+93), 51st in yards per play (+73) and 62nd in total offense (+64). Illinois made the biggest improvement in the nation in rushing, averaging 137.4 yards more in 2018 than the previous season. The Illini averaged 243.0 rushing yards per game, good for second-best in the Big Ten and fifth on the Illinois season rushing average list.
