A two-year starter at center for the Blue Devils, Davis earned a third team All-ACC citation in 2017 and was a member of the ESPN ACC All-Bowl Team following Duke's victory over Northern Illinois in the Quick Lane Bowl. The Mansfield, Texas, product played in 38 games including 25 consecutive starts to close his career. He was on the field for 1,987 career snaps and served as a team captain as a senior.
During his four years with the Blue Devils, Davis helped Duke to 28 wins, three bowl game appearances (2014 Hyundai Sun, 2015 New Era Pinstripe Bowl and 2017 Quick Lane Bowl) and two bowl victories. He was the program's Dan “Tiger” Hill Award recipient as the most outstanding offensive lineman his final two seasons.
An Academic All-ACC pick in 2016 and 2017, Davis graduated from Duke in December, 2016 with a degree in political science.
