2022 SEASON:
• The winner of the 2022 Lou Groza Place-Kicker Award.
• A consensus first-team All-American, he won honors from AP, AFCA, The Athletic, CBS, FWAA, The Sporting News, and Walter Camp.
• The NCAA career leader in field goals (97), he ended his career ranked second in kick scoring (491 points).
• Ranked second in the ACC in scoring (8.77 points per game). He led the league in kick scoring and field goals.
• Led the ACC and ranked second nationally in FG percentage this season (.966), he missed just one kick (28 of 29).
• Led the nation in field goals per game.
• Owns three of the top four field goal streaks in school history.
• Named ACC Specialist of the Week and Lou Groza Star of the Week following the win over FSU and won the ACC award again vs. UNC.
• Tied his career best with four made field goals in the win over Florida State, scoring 13 of the Pack’s 19 points. He scored ALL of the Pack’s points vs. Syracuse and the Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs. Maryland.
• Tied his career best with a 53-yarder in the win over the ‘Noles.
• Connected on all 200 of his career PAT attempts - that is also a new school record.
• Ranked second in school history with a .843 field goal percentage.
• Has started all 62 career games in which he’s played, he chose to return for his fifth season.
• Earned the team’s Governor’s Award for MVP and the athletic department’s H.C. Kennett Award for top male student-athlete.
2021 SEASON:
• Broke the Wolfpack scoring mark with 12 points at Miami - the previous mark was 332 points held by Niklas Sade.
• Made one of the biggest plays of the Wolfpack’s 2021 season, when he recovered his own onsides kick to give NC State the ball with 1:33 remaining vs. UNC. The ensuing TD was the game-winner for the Pack.
• Connected on 48 FGs in 2021 - the fifth-highest mark in school history.
• Named to the Lou Groza Watch list for 2021.
• Missed spring drills recovering from an injury suffered towards the end of the 2020 campaign.
2020 SEASON:
• Set a new NC State career record when he connected on his 12th field goal of the season vs. Georgia Tech - the 56th of his career.
• An honorable mention All-ACC choice.
• Hit a career-long 53 yard field goal at Virginia Tech. That was the first 50+ yarder for a Wolfpack player since 2012 (Nik Sade).
• Also nailed a 53-yarder vs. Miami.
• Had connected on 14 consecutive field goals before missing a 51 yarder vs. UVA/ That was the third-longest streak in school history and was the fourth-longest streak nationally at the time.
• Earned the team’s Special Teams Player of the Year Award (along with LB Vi Jones) for the third time in his three seasons.
2019 SEASON:
• Second-team All-ACC choice on the official league squad and AP teams.
• A semifinalist for the 2019 Lou Groza Award.
• Ranked eighth in the ACC in scoring with 7.6 ppg - his 91 points was the 10th-best single season mark in school history.
• Ranked 11th in the FBS - second in the ACC - in FGs per game with 1.75.
• 21 field goals made in 2019 ranked second in school history only to his 2018 tally of 23.
• Connected at an .875 pace (21-24) on field goals in 2019 - ninth in school history.
• Had connected on his last 19 field goals dating back to 2018 prior to missing on a 51-yarder at WVU. That was the longest field goal streak in the nation and the longest in the FBS since Idaho’s Austin Rehkow made 22 straight in 2016.
• Only 1996 Lou Groza Award winner Marc Primanti boasted a longer streak for the Wolfpack (27).
• Named the team’s most valuable special teams player for the second straight year.
2018 SEASON:
• Set the Wolfpack single season record for field goals with 23, breaking the previous marks set by Josh Czajkowski (2010) and Marc Primanti (1996) in their senior campaigns.
• Also set a single-season mark for points scored with 120.
• A second-team All-ACC performer.
• Long field goal was a 49-yarder, he made a 54-yard kick in the 2019 spring game.
• Ranked third in the ACC in scoring with 9.2 points per game, that mark ranked 11th in the FBS and seventh among players from Power 5 conferences.
• Led the ACC in field goal percentage, as he connected at an .885 clip (23-26). That mark ranked eighth in school history for a single season, ninth in the FBS for 2018.
• Led the ACC and ranked eighth in the FBS in FG per game (1.77)
• Was a perfect 51-for-51 on extra points. That was the third-highest PAT total for a season in school history and the most total kicks for an NC State kicker without a miss.
• Connected on his last 15 field goals after going 8-of-11 in the first five games of the season.
• That is the second-longest string of field goals made in school history. Only 1996 Lou Groza Award winner Marc Primanti boasted a longer streak for the Wolfpack (27).
• Shattered the school record for field goals by a freshman (previous mark was 11 by Niklas Sade in 2011).
• Scored a season-best 17 points in the win vs. FSU - he was named the ACC Specialist of the Week.
• Earned the team’s Special Teams Player of the Year Award.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Placekicker and punter at North Davidson High School for coach Brian Flynn.
• Career Stats: Scored 271 points during his prep career, connecting on 30-of-48 field goals and 175-of-184 extra points.
• Senior Stats: Converted 8-of-17 field goals and 68-of-71 extra points for 92 total points. Set the North Carolina state record for longest field goal (57) and touchbacks (89), while posting the second-highest punting average (42.3)
• Helped team advance to the NC 2AA state semifinals with a 13-2 record.
• Junior Stats: Went 8-of-11 on field goals, with 55 extra points.
• Sophomore Stats: Connected on 14-of-20 FGs with 52 extra points.
• Honors: Associated Press and NC Preps 4A all-state. A three-time all-county, all-conference and all-Northwest NC selection. Two-time conference Kicker of the Year as a junior and senior. NYFO National punt and field goal champion, and CSK national champion. Team captain. Played in the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl in New Orleans. Also played in the Shrine Bowl where he converted all seven extra point attempts.
• Rankings: No. 18 kicker nationally and the No. 74 prospect in North Carolina by 247sports.com.
PERSONAL:
• Fifth-generation farmer, he spent the COVID shutdown working on his family’s farm (Fritt’s Farm), raising organic black Angus beef and hay.
• In high school, welded and built a goal post in his yard.
• Major: Earned his degree in communication in December of 2021.
