2021 SEASON:
• Missed spring practice as he continued to rehab from a knee injury.
2020 SEASON:
• Sat out as he recovered from a knee injury.
2019 SEASON:
• Starting CB in the first six games of the season before suffering a season-ending knee injury midway through the Syracuse game.
• Had surgery in October..
• Led the team with a career-high nine tackles in the season opener.
• Earned ACC Defensive Back of the Week honors for the Ball State game when he had nine solo tackles and an interception.
• Was tied for third in the ACC with a pair of INTs when he went out.
2018 SEASON:
• Starter at left corner in every game except the opener.
• Pulled down his first career interception in the win at Marshall.
• Led the team with nine PBUs.
2017 SEASON:
• Started the Wake Forest game at nickel - the only true freshman to start a game on defense for the Pack in 2017.
• Played in all 13 games, seeing action in 21 snaps at corner vs. Furman.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Team captain who played cornerback and wide receiver at Mooresville High School for coach Marty Paxton.
• Also played high school basketball and was on the track team.
• Senior stats: Finished with 53 tackles, two INTs and seven PBUs.
• Junior Stats: Posted 26 tackles, an interception and 10 pass breakups.
• Honors: Played in the 2016 Shrine Bowl. Four-year first-team all-conference selection and three-year all-county.
• Rankings: No. 46 cornerback nationally by rivals.com, the No. 19 player overall in North Carolina. No. 74 cornerback nationally by scout.com, No. 1 CB in North Carolina.
PERSONAL
• Was NC State’s first commitment in the 2017 class. Can play the trombone. Twin sister, Kirsten, attended Meredith College on a track and field scholarship and is now a student-trainer at NC State.
