• Posts the third-best career punt average in school history: 42.9.
• Has 147 career punts, 10th in school history. His 6,316 yards ranks seventh.
AS A RS-JUNIOR (2024):
• Finished the season ranked seventh in the ACC in punting (43.6).
• Ranked 31st in the FBS in punting with a 43.6 yard per kick mark.
• Had 14 50+ yard punts this season. He had four over 50 in the win over Northern Illinois.
• Big key to that Wolfpack victory, NIU’s average start was their own 18 yardline, as Noonkester placed seven of his eight punts inside the 20.
• Named the Ray Guy Punter of the Week for the NIU game.
• Took over as starting punter late in the ‘22 season and has started the last 30 games.
• An ACC All-Academic performer for the second straight season.
• Has added 30 lbs. since arriving on campus.
AS A RS-SOPHOMORE (2023): :
• Boasts the third-best career punt average in school history: 42.7.
• Starting punter in every game.
• Led the ACC in punts (71) and ranked seventh in punt average (42.6).
• Posted fifth-highest number of total punts in school history, his 42.6 average tied for 14th.
• Averaged 50 yards on eight punts vs. UVa, two were downed inside the 10 yard line.
• Named a “Ray’s 8” honoree by the Ray Guy Award for that performance.
• An All-ACC Academic performer, he was also named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the third time.
AS A RS-FRESHMAN (2022) :
• Former walk-on punter who took over the starting job for the last four games
• Averaged 43.0 yards per punt - that mark would have ranked among the best in the ACC if he had enough attempts to qualify.
AS A FRESHMAN (2021) :
• Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Two-year starter at Marvin Ridge High School
• Career Stats: Posted a 46.4 yard punting average and 80% of his kickoffs resulted in touchbacks.
• Honors: The Charlotte Area Punter of the Year in 2019, he garnered second-team all-state honors that year as well.
