As a junior (2011)
• Has allowed 18 runs, 13 earned, on 32 hits in 43 1/3 innings in his last 13 appearances (2.70 ERA), dating back to the 2010 NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional
• Was 2-0 with a 1.40 ERA in his four starts in 2011, and 0-0 with a 5.23 ERA in his nine relief appearances
• Made his season debut Feb. 25 vs. Pacific during Baseball at the Beach and tossed a scoreless inning
• Made his first start of the season March 8 in the first game of the Radford series and dominated, allowing just one run on two hits and retiring 18 of 21 batters faced while pitching a career-longest six innings
• Started and allowed just one unearned run on four hits in 5 1/3 innings March 22 vs. Northwestern, but did not figure in the decision in NC State's 4-1 victory
• Worked 2 2/3 scoreless innings March 27 in the final game of the Clemson series
• Pitched six innings and struck out a career-high eight without issuing a walk April 19 vs. Campbell, allowing just two runs
• Picked up his second win of the season May 11 at Campbell, allowing two runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings

• Got the win in the finale of the La Salle series, Feb. 21
• Pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings March 4 vs. Xavier, allowing one hit and striking out three
• Allowed one hit and struck out two in two scoreless innings March 9 vs. North Carolina A&T
• Allowed a run on three hits in 3 1/3 innings April 6 vs. Coppin State, walking one and striking out five to earn his first college save
• Worked 2 1/3 shutout innings April 13 vs. NC Central, allowing one hit and striking out six of the eight men he faced
• Pitched a scoreless seventh inning May 9 in the finale of the Towson series
• Worked a scoreless inning May 18 vs. High Point, striking out two
• Made his most impressive appearance of the season June 5 vs. Stony Brook in the NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional, pitching 5 2/3 shutout innings, allowing three hits while striking out five and not allowing a walk
As a redshirt freshman (2009)
• Saw his first college action after sitting out the 2008 season with an injury

• Worked a scoreless inning February 24 vs. High Point in his college debut

• Returned to Outer Banks of the Coastal Plain League in 2010 and went 3-3 with a 3.15 ERA in 10 appearances, including four starts
• Walked 11 and struck out 29 in 34 1/3 innings
• Pitched for Outer Banks in 2009 and went 2-0 with a 3.45 ERA in 16 appearances, including one start
• Pitched 28 2/3 innings and allowed 18 hits, walked 13 and struck out 33
High school
• Went 6-4 with a 1.13 ERA as a senior for head coach Joey Bell at Athens Drive High School
• Allowed 26 hits, walked 27 and struck out 106 in 62 innnings
• Earned all-conference in the Tri-8 4-A Conference
• Named academic all-conference
• Pitched just two innings because of an arm injury as a junior in 2006, but recovered without surgery and was back pitching that summer
