Blue Ridge and Hillsborough Road Construction
The NCDOT began construction on the Blue Ridge and Hillsborough Street intersection in October 2022. This project is anticipated to last for 2 years (anticipated completion of fall 2024) and will impact traffic to and from Carter-Finley Stadium and PNC Arena.
The initial phase will block Blue Ridge Rd. traffic north and south bound at the railroad tracks. This means that traffic will not be able to cross the rail road tracks on Blue Ridge Rd coming or leaving the Carter-Finley/PNC Arena area. Hillsborough Street will remain open during this initial phase.
