AS A FRESHMAN (2019):
• Redshirted the season at quarterback.
IN HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played quarterback at Palmer Ridge High School for coach Tom Pulford. Finished his career winning back-to-back CHSAA 3A state titles.
• Career Stats: Posted a 34-5 record as a starter. In 45 career games, completed 597-of-994 passes (.601) for 9,485 yards and 106 touchdowns. Turned in a QB rating of 116.4. Also rushed 131 times for 538 yards and 20 TDs.
• Senior Stats: Completed 176 of 307 pass attempts (.573) for 2,665 yards and 33 touchdowns. Also ran the ball 56 times for 355 yards and 11 touchdowns. Team won second straight state championship with a 12-2 record as the No. 4 seed in the playoffs. .
• Junior Stats: Completed 218-of-349 passes (.625) for 3,627 yards and 42 touchdowns. Averaged 259.1 yards per game.
• Sophomore Stats: In 11 games, completed 197-of-328 passes (.601) for 3,130 yards and 30 scores.
• Honors: Named first-team all-state and the Colorado 3A MVP as a senior. The 2017 Gatorade and USA Today Player of the Year in Colorado as a junior. Also all-state as a junior. Was a 2018 Nike Elite 11 QB. Team captain as a junior and senior.
• Rankings: No. 1 recruit in Colorado and the No. 23 pro-style quarterback nationally by Rivals.com. No. 2 recruit in Colorado and the No. 18 pro-style quarterback nationally by 247Sports.com.
