2023-24
• Named as one of the five team captains for the season.
• Wrestled in the Wolfpack's lineup in 174 pound weight class.
• Closed the season with a 14-14 record, 9-8 in dual action, with seven bonus point wins on the season.
• Automatically qualified for the 2024 NCAA Championships from his performance at the ACC Championships with wins over Pitt's Luca Augustine and Duke's Gaetano Console.
• Highest ranked win was over Pitt's No. 18 Luca Augustine while in Pittsburgh.
• Named to the 2023-24 All-ACC Academic Team for the first time and the 2023-24 ACC Academic Honor Roll for the third time.
2022-23
• Qualified for NCAAs for the first time.
• Finished 2nd at ACC’s after being defeated 2-1 in double overtime by the #1 seed, Mekhi Lewis of Virginia Tech.
2021-22
• Went 12-3 on the season, mostly at 174 pounds.
• Earned a 12-3 major decision over Gardner-Webb in the dual.
• Placed first at the Patriot Open and third at both The Citadel Open and the Franklin & Marshall Open.
2020-21
• Went a perfect 5-0, 4-0 at 174 pounds.
• Started the dual vs. Duke, and scored a 22-11 major decision.
• Downed #17 Flitz of App State 10-4 in an extra match. Also downed UNC’s Kane 5-4 in an extra match.
• Named to the 2020-21 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2019-20
• Redshirted the season.
• Went 16-6 in five open tournaments, all at 174 pounds.
• Had nine bonus point wins, including five pins.
• Placed second in his final two opens, Appalachian State and Newberry.
• Named to the 2019-20 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2018-19
• One of four true freshmen to see action, finished 13-11 on the season mostly at 165 pounds.
• Took second at the Newberry Open and sixth at the Hokie Open.
• Bumped up to 184 pounds in the dual vs. Duke.
Prep
• Placed fourth as a senior at the NC 3A state championships at 160 pounds.
• As a junior, won a 3A state title at 152 pounds and went 28-6.
Personal
• Only starting wrestling once he got to high school.
• Younger brother, Aaron, is also a member of the NC State Wrestling team.
• Received a bachelor's degree in Criminology and a graduate certificate in Leadership & Volunteer Management.
• Member of NC State’s Army ROTC program.
