2019 Academic All-ACC TeamÂ
2019-20 (REDSHIRTÂ SENIOR):
- Won the first ACC title of his career as part of the Pack's gold medal 400 freestyle relay team. Anchored the relay with a 41.93 split as NC State took the win in 2:48.03
- A finalist in the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke at the ACC Championships. Placed fifth in the 100 butterfly (45.71) and sixth in the 100 backstroke (46.57) after posting a season-best 46.27 in the prelims
- Also was a C finalist in his third individual event with a 21st-place finish in the 200 backstroke (1:44.83)
- Earned podium finishes as the anchor of the Pack's second-place 800 freestyle relay team (1:33.58 spllit) and third-place 200 freestyle relay squad (19.53 split)
- Garnered All-America status in three events in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic. Selected after being a part of two A cut relay teams and earning NCAA Championships qualification in the 200 butterfly
- Earned first-place 100 butterfly finish (47.31) in the Pack's dual against Virginia
- Honored with the team's Diamond Award for demonstrating work ethic, team commitment and team spirit
2018-19 (SENIOR):
- Garnered first All-America honors of his career with a top-16 finish in the 100 butterfly at the NCAA Championships
- Reached the A finals in all three of his individual events at the ACC Championships
- Placed fifth in the 100 backstroke (45.49), third in the 100 butterfly (45.33) and tied for sixth in the 200 backstroke (1:41.83)
- Swam career-bests in all three of those events during the 2019 season
2017-18 (JUNIOR):
- NCAA qualifier in the 100 backstroke, where he finished 25th with a time of 46.28
- Finished fourth in the 100 backstroke (46.41) at the ACC Championships
- Placed third in the 200 medley relay (1:28.35), fourth in the 100 backstroke (48.73), and fifth in the 100 butterfly (49.46) at NC State's dual meet with UNC-Chapel Hill
2016-17 (SOPHOMORE):
- Joined the Wolfpack in January of 2017Â
- Missed the championship season due to in-conference transfer policies
- Scored points in all three of his individual races at the ACC ChampionshipsÂ
- Placed sixth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 47.08
- Swam then-career best times in the 100 butterfly (48.32) and 100 backstroke (46.96) at the Georgia Invite that included a near two-second drop in the 100 backstroke en route to a fifth place finish in the race
PREP/PERSONAL:
- Two-time 4A state champion in the 100 butterflyfly in 2012 and 2014 before he added another title in the 200 freestyle to his list
- 2013 and 2014 Orlando Sentinel All Central Florida Male Swimmer of the Year
- Three-year Junior Nationals qualifier while representing the Blue Dolphins
- Three-time MVP for Oviedo where he holds four records (100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 freestyle)
