2021-22
• Finished sixth at the 2021 U.S. Senior Nationals at 86 kg.
2020-21
• Pack’s starter at 197 pounds.
• NCAA Qualifier at his third different weight class at NC State (174, 184). Earned the #28 seed.
• Went 7-5 on the year overall, 2-1 in duals.
• Placed fourth at the ACC Championship to earn an automatic NCAA bid. Both losses were to ranked foes.
• A perfect 4-0 in bonus point matches.
• Returned to freestyle action for the first time in over two years, competing at the 2020 U.S. Senior Nationals. Went 2-2 at the event at 97 kg.
2019-20
• Moved up to 197 pounds, his third weight in three seasons in the lineup.
• Missed a majority of the season due to a knee injury. Limited to just 10 matches.
• Went 5-5, 2-4 in duals.
• Reached the second day at the Southern Scuffle before defaulting out, resulting in an eighth place finish. Went 3-1, with three major decision wins.
• Forced to miss the ACC Championship.
• Named to the 2019-20 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2018-19
• 2019 NCAA Qualifier at 184 pounds, earned the No. 7 seed.
• Went 16-6 on the season, 9-3 in duals.
• After going winless against ranked foes as a freshman, went 6-4 against ranked foes, with a pair of top-10 wins.
• Started the season 10-0, then suffered a torn ACL and finished the season with the injury.
• Placed third at the ACC Championships. Went 3-1, and clinched an NCAA bid with a top-15 win.
• 8-1 in bonus point matches.
• Reached as high as #2 in the national rankings,and finished the season ranked #10 in FloWrestling’s final rankings.
• Named ACC Wrestler of the Week a league-best four times.
2017-18
• Redshirted the season.
• Saw action in six open tournaments at 184 pounds, and went 21-4. Besides an injury default, all losses were to top-15 foes.
• Placed fourth at the Southern Scuffle, with a 6-4 win over #17 Coleman of Navy in the quarterfinals.
• Won three tournaments; Pembroke Classic, Wolfpack Open and Appalachian State Open.
• Wrestled in freestyle at 86 kg and qualified for Final X by placing first at the 2018 World Team Trials. Scored back-to-back tech falls (11-0, 10-0) to advance to the best two-out-of-three finals. Won two straight matches (4-0, 6-3) against top-seeded Richard Perry.
• Placed third at the 2018 Bill Farrell International, his first senior-level tournament. Also placed third at the 2018 U.S. Open at 86 kg, he lost his first bout then won six straight, with a pin and outscoring those other foes 53-6.
2016-17
• 2017 NCAA Qualifier at 174 pounds as a freshman, earned an at-large bid.
• Went 20-13 on the season, including 7-5 in duals and 2-3 in ACC action. Was a perfect 10-0 in bonus point matches.
• Went 2-2 at the ACC Championship.
• Was third at 84 kg at the Junior World Team Trials. Won the challenger tournament and advanced to the best-of-three finals. Qualified for the Trials after a second place finish at the United World Wrestling Junior Nationals (UWW).
Prep
• A 2015-16 ASICS All-America second-team selection at 195 pounds.
• Appeared in the National Prep finals each year, winning the title in his junior season. Went 141-6 during his high school career.
• Wrestled up two weights as a senior, competing at 195 pounds, as he weight 175. Wrestled his freshman year at Highland Park High School in Dallas.
• 2016 member of Junior World Team for Greco Roman.
• Won numerous tournaments: Junior Freestyle National Champion, FloNational Champion, Who’s Number One Champion, National Prep Champion, Ironman Champion, Cadet Freestyle National Champion, Cadet Greco Roman National Champion, USA Wrestling Folkstyle national Champion, Texas State Champion, Cadet Pan Am Freestyle Champion, and Junior Pan Am Greco Roman Champion.
