2017-18: Split time as the Wolfpack’s starter at heavyweight, moving up after being at 197 pounds the previous two seasons … Went 20-4 on the season, including 9-2 in duals, 1-1 in ACC action … 12-2 in bonus point matches … Took top honors at the National Collegiate Open, going 5-0 with a pin and outscoring his other foes 48-2 … Placed fifth at the Reno Tournament of Champions with a 4-1 mark … Earned All-American honors at the U23 World Team Trials with a fourth place finish at 97 kg … Scored a pair of pins and a 10-0 tech fall win to advance into the semifinals … Named to 2017-18 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2016-17: A 2017 NCAA Qualifier in his first season as a starter … Earned an at-large bid … Went 20-11 on the season, including 8-4 in duals … Went 3-1 in ACC duals … Posted three ranked wins on the year, and was 10-2 in bonus point matches … Placed third at the ACC Championship going 2-1 … Won seven of his final nine duals on the year, only losses to top-six wrestlers … Took third in the Wolfpack Open with a top-15 win.
2015-16: Saw action in 11 duals and two tournaments at 197 pounds … Posted a record of 13-6 overall, including 8-3 in duals … Recorded five pins, three in duals … Best win of the season was a 12-3 major decision over #11 Kasunic of American in a dual … Narrowly fell 5-1 to #1 and eventual national champion Cox of Missouri in a dual, that kept the team score to just four points and provided the Pack a chance to win in the final bout with its technical fall to close the dual … Placed fifth in the Wolfpack Open, going 5-1.
2014-15: Redshirted the season … Wrestled in two open tournaments at 184 pounds and three at 197 pounds … Posted a record of 15-3 … Won the Pembroke Classic at 184 pounds and the Newberry Open at 197 pounds … Also third at the Appalachian State Open with a 5-1 mark.
