2016 OLYMPCI TRIALS QUALIFIER (100m, 200m Backstroke)
2015 ALL-ACC ACADEMIC TEAM
2015- 2016 (Senior)
- Competed in five meets in the regular season, seeing action in the 100 and 200 backstroke and 200 IM.
- Posted a time of 1:51.77 in the 200 IM in the Pack’s dual meet against Texas to earn a second-place finish.
- Earned season-best times at the Nike Cup in the 100 backstroke (49.99) and 200 backstroke (1:49.32).
- 2016 Olympic Trials Qualifier in 100m and 200m backstroke.
2014-15 (Junior):
- Notched season-best marks in the 100 and 200 backstroke at the Bulldog Invitational, posting times of 48.91 in the 100 to place fifth and 1:46.49 in the 200.
- Charted a season best in the 200 IM at the Carolina College Invitational after touching in 1:51.83 to finish fourth.
- Also competed in the 100 freestyle and 100 back, as well as relay events throughout the season.
- Named to the 2015 All-ACC Academic Team.
2013-14 (Sophomore):
- Posted the fifth fastest time in NC State's history in the 200 IM with a 1:48.02 clocking at the Bulldog Invitational.
- His time in the event met an NCAA `B' standard.
- In the 200 back, stopped the clock in 1:46.15 to finish with the seventh fastest time in the history of the program at the Bulldog Invitational.
- His time in the event met the NCAA `B' standard.
- Also, posted the fourth fastest time on the squad in the 100 back with a time of 51.06 in the dual meet against UVa.
2012-13 (Freshman):
- Posted the fifth-best times on the team for the year in the 100 and 200 backstroke
Prep:
- Competed at Providence High School.
- Captain of his high school team as a senior.
- Led the team to three straight championships as a sophomore, junior, and senior.
- Named Scholastic All-American in 2012.
