Teague Andersen Named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – For the second straight week, NC State football took home ACC weekly honors as Teague Andersen was named the conference Offensive Lineman of the Week after helping lead the Wolfpack to its second win of the season.
The Lehi, Utah, native graded out at a team-high 92.77%, tallied five pancake blocks and six Raleigh Railroads against the Mountaineers. Along with the rest of the offensive line, Andersen helped pave the way for the Wolfpack running game as the Pack totaled 206 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns, including 148 rushing yards from Duke Scott, which was the second most of his career.
The senior had started the last 14 games he had played for the Wolfpack at right tackle heading into the Vanderbilt game. In his previous stop at Utah State, he started 16 games in that spot (plus one at left tackle and one at center).
When the Wolfpack's starting center Spike Sowells went down with an injury against Richmond, Andersen stepped in and played 24 snaps there. He started the Vanderbilt game in that spot, playing 82 snaps, and against App. State.
This will be Andersen's second time he has been recognized as offensive lineman of the week. Last week, wide receiver Keenan Jackson took home ACC Receiver of the Week honors.
Andersen and the rest of the Wolfpack will now prepare for ACC play to resume as the Wolfpack welcomes Louisville to Cater-Finley Stadium this week on October 3rd at 3:30.
