RALEIGH, N.C. - Behind a dominant offensive performance and an efficient front row, the NC State volleyball team swept App State in straight sets Tuesday evening in the final home, non-conference match of the season.

The Pack moves to 8-1 on the season, the best start through nine games under the leadership of head coach Megan Wargo-Kearney and extends its win-streak to six games as it heads into the final matches of the non-conference slate.

Set-By-Set Summary
One: NC State set the tone early in the opening frame, converting on 73% of its sideout opportunities. Ahead 10-9, the Wolfpack put together a crucial 6-0 run—highlighted by kills from Silver and Sophia Groom—to build a comfortable 16-9 lead. Silver stayed hot late in the set with six first-set kills, and a final kill from Smith capped off a 25-14 victory.
Two: The Pack put on an offensive clinic in the second set, hitting a blistering .625 with 16 kills and only one error. App State hung around early before Maciejewicz took over at the service line. Her back-to-back service aces ignited a 7-0 run that blew the set open at 14-4. Kills late from Clara Vondran and Norah Busch secured the dominant 25-10 win.
