Diehl, Berkoff Lead Wolfpack Medal Haul in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA - The Wolfpack sent five swimmers west this week to compete at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Sacramento, California, held May 20-23.
Representing Wolfpack Elite were Gavin Keogh, Jerry Fox, Daniel Diehl, Katharine Berkoff, and Aiden Hayes.
Rising senior Daniel Diehl turned in a notable performance, earning three medals across three days of competition. He opened the meet with a gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke LCM, posting a time of 53.74. Diehl continued his strong showing in the backstroke events by capturing silver in the 200 backstroke (1:57.92) and bronze in the 50 backstroke (25.37).
Pack Pro Katharine Berkoff also delivered an impressive performance, earning gold medals in both the 50 backstroke (27.41) and 100 backstroke (58.88) LCM events.
Making his professional swimming debut, Aiden Hayes claimed silver in the 50 backstroke with a time of 25.36, finishing just ahead of teammate Daniel Diehl for a Wolfpack 2-3 finish. Hayes also added a bronze medal in the 100 butterfly, touching in 52.60.
Rising sophomore Gavin Keogh earned a bronze medal in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:59.27, joining Diehl on the podium for another Wolfpack 2-3 finish. Jerry Fox missed the podium, but reached the finals in both sprint freestyle events. He finished ninth in the 50 freestyle (22.31) and seventh in the 100 freestyle (49.56).
