Pack Divers Open NCAA Zone B Championships in Athens

ATHENS, GA - On the opening day of the NCAA Zone B Championships, freshman Keann Guthrie and junior Gracie Hurley competed in the women's 1-meter event Sunday morning, each looking to secure a spot at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, scheduled for March 18-21 in Atlanta, GA.
Both divers competed in the preliminary round but fell short of advancing to the 1-meter finals, which featured the top 18 finishers. Hurley placed 34th overall with a score of 219.80, while Guthrie finished 41st with a score of 200.25 in her Zone B Championships debut.
Hurley will return to the boards Monday for the women's 3-meter event, where she will be joined by freshman Riley McGrath, who will be making her NCAA Zone B Championships debut. Prelims are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., followed by finals at 1:40 p.m. The top 18 finishers in prelims will advance to the finals, with the top 11 divers earning qualification to the NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.
