Women’s Basketball’s Season Ends in NCAA Tournament Round of 32

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The NC State women's basketball team fell to Michigan 92-63 in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 game at the Crisler Center Sunday.
The Wolfpack played in its eighth second round game in the past nine tournaments. NC State finished the year 21-11, fourth place in the ACC and tallied its 31st NCAA Tournament showing.
NC State matched a season-high 22 turnovers, which Michigan cashed in for 35 points. After holding Michigan to 28 first-half points and trailing by three, 28-25, at the half, the Wolverines outscored the Pack 64-38 in the second half.
NC State shot 45 percent from the field (23-of-51) and logged seven baskets through contact in the game. In Zoe Brooks' absence, the Pack scored 17 points off the bench, while Destiny "Ky'She" Lunan earned her first career start.
Zamareya Jones led the Pack with 16 points, five rebounds, a career-high nine assists and career-high four blocks, while playing all 40 minutes. Khamil Pierre logged 15 points, nine rebounds and one block. Devyn Quigley registered a career-high 29 minutes, finishing with 11 points and four rebounds.
NC State's 2025-26 season has come to a close.
