POSTGAME QUOTES
Head Coach Wes Moore Opening Statement:
"It was not the prettiest thing in the world. I think some people have been waiting to hear this, it's an ugly baby, but it's our baby. I'll put that out there, I don't think I've used it all year. They're tough to play against, the stuff they run offensively, the movement, the back picks, back doors, curls and fades. It's tough to guard and I thought we did a much better job this time than we did before. I know the last time we played them, they scored 33 points in the first quarter. So tonight, a much better job. I thought rebounding was a big key to this game. On the offensive boards, we went and got 15, and they got two. We outscored them 22-2 on second chance points. So, obviously, even though it wasn't always pretty, we did what we had to do to get it done. I'm so proud of this team. It's been a little up and down and choppy, but to have a chance to close it out, and hopefully be one of the top four teams to get a double bye in the ACC is not easy. So again, I'm proud of them for that."
