#8 Wolfpack Falls to #2 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio - No. 8 NC State women's tennis claimed the doubles point and earned a singles victory from Jasmine Conway but ultimately fell 5-2 to No. 2 Ohio State on Friday night in Columbus.
The Wolfpack opened strong in doubles action. After the Buckeyes earned a win on court two, Mia Slama and Lavinia Tanasie leveled the round with a 6-2 win over Teah Chavez and Alessia Cau. The No. 2 duo of Victoria Osuigwe and Gabriella Broadfoot then clinched the point with a 6-4 victory on court one against Hephzibah Oluwadare and Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev.
In singles play, Ohio State secured five of the six courts to claim the dual. Conway provided NC State's lone singles win, defeating Oluwadare in straight sets, 7-6 (6), 6-4, on court six.
