No. 11 Women’s Tennis Opens 2026 Dual Campaign with Four Home Matches This Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 11 NC State women's tennis team opens its 2026 spring dual season with four home matches indoors at J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center, hosting a pair of doubleheaders this weekend.
The Wolfpack will begin the campaign on Saturday, Jan. 17, with matches against ETSU and Campbell, before returning to action on Sunday, Jan. 18, to face NC Central and UNC Greensboro. Play on both days is scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Admission is free for all regular-season home matches. Fans planning to attend this weekend's matches must obtain a virtual parking permit. Instructions for registering for the permit can be found here.
All matches will be available for live scoring via StatBroadcast and streamed on Track Tennis.

The Pack enjoyed a successful fall campaign to open the 2025–26 collegiate season, highlighted by the program's second NCAA Doubles National Championship. Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe captured the title with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over fourth-seeded Sophia Webster and Celia-Belle Mohr of Vanderbilt, securing NC State's second national crown in three seasons. The program's first championship was earned by Jaeda Daniel and Nell Miller in 2022.
NC State also sent a program-record six entries, four singles players and two doubles teams, to the NCAA Individual Championships at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., further underscoring the Pack's strong fall showing.
Heading into the 2026 season, three Wolfpack players have already earned All-America status. Broadfoot claimed both singles and doubles honors, Osuigwe was named a doubles All-American, and Mia Slama earned singles All-America recognition.
Scouting the Competition
ETSU enters the weekend coming off a 14-9 campaign in 2025, including a 6-1 mark in Southern Conference play. The Bucs advanced to the SoCon Tournament finals before falling to Furman in a close 4-3 championship match. ETSU opened the 2026 spring season with a 1-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 13.
Campbell finished the 2025 dual season with an 8-9 record and reached the quarterfinal round of the CAA Tournament. The Camels opened the 2026 slate last weekend at No. 3 North Carolina and will face their second straight top 11 opponent when they travel to Raleigh.
NC Central posted a 13-9 record in 2025 and concluded its season with the program's first-ever appearance in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship finals. The Eagles will begin their 2026 dual season this weekend against the Wolfpack.
UNC Greensboro enters the 2026 campaign after a 3-18 dual season in 2025. The Spartans will open the new slate with a doubleheader at Virginia before heading to Raleigh to face NC State.
