
Men’s Soccer Highlights 17 Newcomers for the 2025 Fall Season

RALEIGH – NC State men's soccer head coach Marc Hubbard highlights 17 newcomer student-athletes for the fall season. The program's squad boasts 14 returners and 17 newcomers, seven of which are freshmen, for the 2025 campaign.
"We're excited to welcome a talented incoming class of 17 players to join our 14 returners, creating a deep and competitive roster", said head coach Marc Hubbard. "This group blends youthful potential with players who bring immediate maturity and experience to our program. The balance of the class gives us the ability to develop for the future while also making an instant impact. Together with the momentum from last year's success, this class forms a strong foundation for continued growth and achievement."

Adam Abdouh • Houston, Texas • Houston Dynamo • Defender • Freshman

"Adam is a right back who comes to us from the Houston Dynamo Academy. He has excellent attacking instincts, delivers quality service from wide areas, and is dangerous in 1v1 situations. "Isaac will be coming in as a true freshman after spending his time as a youth player with Bethesda Soccer Club. From early in our recruiting process, we saw in Isaac the qualities of a midfielder who can thrive in our system—he's quick across the pitch, strong in 1v1 battles, and composed on the ball under pressure. Transferring in as a junior forward from the University of New Hampshire…Appeared in all 17 games with six starts for the Wildcats last season, where he tallied one goal and four assists, as well as tied for third on the team in points...

"Austin is a versatile attacking player who comes to us from the University of New Hampshire. He has the speed and strength to cause problems for opposing backlines in numerous attacking positions. Pedro Caeiro • Faro, Portugal • Leca FC • Defender • 5th Year
Transferring in as a fifth year defender after spending four seasons with Insituto Jean Piaget in Portugal…

"We're excited to welcome Pedro, an experienced defender who joins us from a strong competitive level in Portugal. He brings a dynamic blend of athleticism, physical presence, and composure on the ball. He is comfortable with connecting passes from the back and driving forward in possession. Transferring in as a junior midfielder from Missouri State…Named the 2024 MVC Co-Midfielder of the Year…Placed on the MVC All-Tournament Team two years in a row…Started all 18 matches for his team last season and tied for the team lead in assists with four...

His composure on the ball and his ability to link play between the lines will be a valuable addition to our team. Transferring in as a sixth year forward from the University of New Hampshire…Spent two seasons at UNH where he recorded seven goals and three assists last season…In 2024 he led America East in points per game (1.31) and ranked third in America East in goals per game (.540)...He was named to the All-America East First Team… Prior to being a Wildcat he played three seasons at Iowa Western Community College where he racked up 32 goals and 18 assists, aiding his team in winning the national championship in the fall of 2021 and national runners-ups in the spring of 2021…Named the NJCAA National Tournament Offensive Player of the Tournament in 2021…Earned First Team All-Region honors three times...

Christian Herluf • Odder, Denmark • McKendree • Goalkeeper • Junior
Transferring in as a junior goalkeeper from McKendree University…Spent two seasons as a Bearcat where he set a single-season mark for shutouts with 14 and was placed on the All-GLVC Second Team as a freshman…Helped guide his team to the Final Four last season while leading the country in goals against average (.56)...

"Christian is a goalkeeper that comes to us from McKendree University. Christian helped lead his team to the final four this past year, and also led the country in goals against average at .56/game. Thomas Lamaille • Villejuif, France • St. John's • Defender • 5th Year
Transferring in as a 5th year defender from St. John's…Named on the All-Big East Second Team last season as he recorded one goal and three assists in his 16 starts and 18 appearances…Previously played at Tyler Junior College where he helped lead the Apache to a Region 14 Championship as well as earned Junior College All-America honors...
