Wolfpack Posts Fifth-Straight Top-25 Learfield Directors’ Cup Finish

NC State Athletics concluded the 2024-25 sports season with a No. 20 ranking in the Learfield Directors' Cup, announced on Thursday.

It's the fifth straight top-25 finish in the Learfield Directors' Cup for the Pack and the sixth overall top-25 finish in school history.

NC State finished the season with 11 teams finishing in the top-25 of their sports respective poll, including six teams finishing in the top-10.

Among the highlights of the NC State's 2024-25 season were the Pack's women's basketball program and wrestling program both finishing as Co-Regular Season ACC Champions. The men's soccer program advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1994, while the men's tennis program's final ranking of seventh in the ITA rankings was the highest in program history.
NC State Athletics is also excelling academically, as 21 of the University's 22 athletic programs finished the spring semester with a GPA above 3.0. NC State student-athletes had a spring term GPA of 3.24.
