RALEIGH, N.C. -Â Chloe Negrete has been named the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season, the conference announced Friday. Eleven Wolfpack gymnasts were also selected to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team.
To qualify for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and compete in at least half of their team's meets during the season.
Negrete capped her decorated career with another standout year in 2025. She tallied 24 podium finishes, including 13 individual titles, and recorded 13 scores of 9.900 or better. Her season highlights included a career-high 9.975 on beam—achieved twice this year—and a 9.975 on floor against No. 23 Ohio State. She also posted a career-best 9.900 on vault at the George Washington quad meet, a performance that earned her Week 10 Gymnast of the Week honors.
Negrete was named ACC Specialist of the Week four times (Weeks 2, 4, 7, and 11), the only gymnast in the conference to do so in 2025.
