Women's DMR Team Claims Victory on First Night of ACC Indoor Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships are underway with the NC State women's Distance Medley Relay (DMR) team securing NC State's first victory of the championships on day one at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville.
The day's highlight came from the women's DMR team of Kate Putman, Jordyn Parker, Angelina Napoleon, and Hannah Gapes, who battled to a thrilling win with a time of 10:52.59, claiming first place.
Brooke Rauber also stood out, securing third place in the 5000 meters with a personal best of 15:50.09, marking her spot at No. 10 on the program's all-time top 10 list.
In men's action, Charles McBride cleared 2.16 meters in the high jump, earning a second-place finish and First-Team All-ACC honors. Kyzaiah Stone cleared 2.08 meters in the same event, taking sixth place and earning Second-Team All-ACC honors.
The women's team is currently in fourth place with 16 points, while the men sit in third with 12.5.
