Wolfpack Wraps Up Competition at Georgia Last Chance Meet

ATHENS, GA – Five members of the Wolfpack men's swimming team will travel to Athens, GA, to compete in the Georgia Bulldogs Last Chance Meet on March 1-2 at the Gabrielsen Natatorium. The team is aiming to secure spots in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, which will take place in Federal Way, Washington, from March 26-29.
At the meet, the Wolfpack recorded top results, including five personal bests, 12 NCAA B-cut times, and six first-place finishes.
Saturday's competition saw standout performances, with Ryan Weaver delivering a significant improvement in his events. In the 200 freestyle, Weaver posted a personal best of 1:41.84, shaving 17.5 seconds off his previous time of 1:59.58 set in the morning prelims.
Hudson Schuricht also recorded personal bests, first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.61, and later in the 100 breaststroke, where he clocked a time of 53.71 during the prelims. Will Heck joined the personal best club with a time of 1:54.80 in the 200 breaststroke, matching his time in both the prelims and finals.
